The capacity to live politically – Gilles Deleuze's experience

This work was written as an attempt to continue the thought of a particular philosopher; an attempt which, as the result showed, remained within the boundaries of the attempt itself. The work was submitted in 2021 at Tbilisi State University to obtain a doctoral degree in philosophy. Since then, I had never considered publishing it; only recently did I fully realize the overwhelming abundance of what remains unthought, surpassing what was thought within the attempt. However, the peculiarities of being in time gradually reveal to us that the thought, and more often its extreme conditionality, is always preceded by the inexhaustibility of what remains unthought; this realization underlies my decision to let the presented text see the light of day.

The sphere that unfolds only after the point of expression is now marked by the necessity of philosophical articulation; an articulation made possible by turning toward the unwavering heart of originary thought (ἀτρεμὲς ἦτορ). Sometimes it happens that the failures accompanying an attempt unexpectedly reveal what is most essential.
