The book presents the essence of a conservative (Latin: consarvare < conservo – I protect, I preserve) worldview, stating that:

The primary goal is to preserve the idea of a shared territory, where we are rooted and which we call our home.
We should preserve and earn the right to possess what has been handed down to us by our ancestors.
We must protect the idea of territorial loyalty, which should be the foundation of any government.
We must safeguard and earn independence, which previous generations so fiercely carved out from Christian heritage, imperial authority, and Roman law.
So that one part of society does not feel alienated from another; that they value their connection – feeling that we are one people, bound by fate, and that the evil instigated by any fellow citizen threatens us all.
