Aristotle's Metaphysics is a summary of all Greek philosophy. Aristotle named this work "The First philosophy" and it is indeed the first not only because of the most important philosophical problems discussed in it but also as the first systematic course in philosophy and the first textbook of philosophy. Problems in Metaphysics do not lose their relevance for contemporary readers.
The second edition of Metaphysics is accompanied by an ancient Greek text, which will undoubtedly be of great help to those interested in philosophy.
The translator is Tamar Kukava (1921-2007) who was a professor at Tbilisi State University and academician of Academy of Philosophical Sciences. Tamar Kukava has translated 6 books of Aristotle: Metaphysics, Rhetoric, Politics, On Soul, Magna Moralia, and Nicomachean Ethics
